27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! - Luke 12:27-28 (NIV)Replace this text with information about you and your business or add information that will be useful for your customers.

The Process
FOF student completes Bible study lessons in course book sent from the Publisher. Student keeps the book. FOF office sends her a 1 page double-sided Mail-In Homework which is what Instructor reviews, gently corrects and/or praises as needed.
Mentor writes a Letter of Encouragement to student which is included with the 1 page Mail-In Homework. Often the letters written back and forth with each lesson are the student’s favorite part of the lesson because prayer requests are shared and often artwork and doodling is involved (for those artistic students and mentors!).
Because FOF is via mail, students continuously study God’s Word and stay in touch with their mentors even if they are transferred or released. In this way mentors fulfill the calling of Hebrews 13:3. Our founder fondly refers to this ministry as a “tea and pj’s”3 hours or so a month celebration in the comfort of your home. Simple, yet SO effective (It’s impossible not to sing during this special time with your student)!
let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy Psalm 96:12 ESV
PHILEMON MENTOR:
This is basically Pen Pals With A Purpose (currently in Pilot Phase). Mentor must love to write. Those applicants who are accepted into FOF and but for whatever reason are unable to participate in regular curriculum will be offered this program. The purpose is to come alongside her with a mentor and "go with her where she goes". Our hope is whether released or remain, she will have the accountability and assistance she needs to grow closer to the Lord.
Each 1 double sided page homework sent to FOF from the pen pal will include Scripture reading and either fill-ins or Scripture writing requirements. Also included is a breakdown of Prayer according to the A.C.T.S. (Method Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication). Pen pal will write her requests in this format. The second page is a blank page to write to her mentor and share praises, ask questions, make comments, notes etc.
In this way mentor and pen pal will focus on God, His Word and the love of Christ which God gives His daughters. There will be little idle talk (as most pen pal programs are not focused on God but self) as everything is focused on God. Proverbs 10:19-21, Titus 2. Both mentor and pen pal must agree to rules and confidentiality agreement. All correspondence from pen pal is screened by FOF.
One standard stamp required per letter. Mentor is responsible for postage stamps. A 7-day response is required for mentor to return each lesson to pen pal unless vacation/absence requests are submitted to FOF.
Mentors enjoy the teaching of https://bibleproject.com/classroom/. Independent study will allow mentors to encourage and educate her pen pal with each snail mail letter. If additional resources are required for mentor, FOF will send complimentary to mentor.
